He's right up there, but technically, Harrison was a free agent signing, right?

He certainly hasn't impressed, but if we're talking about covering Andrews and Likely, Beanie would get run over.

They will probably call on Fitz and then have Kazee as the deep safety.
Yeah, he is. People don't remember that we let him go to Baltimore and he got cut before he came back here and stuck. That could have been disastrous for us.

Yeah, I can't really see any way they bring DJ back in.
I always thought when Minkah said in the locker room "people in this room want the fruit but they dont want to toil for it," or something along those lines, that he was specifically talking about DJ.

I guess we will see, but I don't think this locker room wants the dude back.

They may not. And I’d be surprised if they bring him back. But damn would he fill a need.

Put money down on the Ravens to cover…they’ll win by a TD or more…don’t think it’ll be as close as the games usually are with the Steelers key injuries…bad day in Pittsburgh sports…the Penguins against the NJD is a bad matchup loI ….do think the Steelers will bounce back and claim the division with wins against Chiefs and Bengals at home however….hoping I’m right on that

The 382nd straight time Andy has picked the Steelers to lose. God it must be hard being this way.

I don't agree with that assessment. If we're gonna shell out that amount and term for a player in his late 30's he needs to win a playoff game, or, play well enough that we should win that game.
Making decisions on one game samples is a recipe for bad decisions.

Sounds like they're more concerned about any extra $$$ instead of the massive cap penalty. Wow, that's a big hit though.

I think far too much is made of Atlanta's decision to get a guy like Cousins and then spend high on the draft on a guy like Penix. If you don't have a QB you don't have nothing, neither was a sure thing, so why not take your swings there if you like them? Yeah, there's probably going to be some inefficiency... but if you find your guy through doing so, then who cares, most teams are inefficient in finding their franchise QB.

The issue is who they trusted. Cousins coming off of that injury was always a massive risk and one that always potentially had a long timeline. It's genuinely possible that it turns out all Cousins needed was more time to get it right and get his confidence back and he'll be a better QB next year than Penix. Unlikely but possible.

Will be real interesting to see who Penix is too as he's basically playing for the GM's job.
