Dealing with that team and their individual personalities has to be an impossible task.
In the NBA, building a tea is as much about finding the right players characterwise as it is about talent - just takes one prima donna star to tear a team apart.

Kyrie Irving might be one of the dumbest professional athletes ever which is saying something. He doesn’t even have to mean it. A simple “I’m sorry, it was/is wrong” type of answer would make this all go away but he’s simply incapable of doing it.

He, I mean his PR team, did.

Honestly didn’t even see that. I’m following it from the outside. It’s kind of just showing up everywhere on social media right now through all different types of avenues not just NBA circles. I guess the issue is more so he goes & does these media sessions just ends up saying wild shit that has you asking more questions especially when it’s in a tone of him playing victim.

Desean Jackson made it go away quickly right or wrong with just taking the lumps & moving on. Irving seemingly just doesn’t want to follow a similar path. He obviously got a leeway because of his stature as player but man the NBA office probably has to be shaking their head with how hard he’s making it on them to do something.

Kyrie sending his parents to the ADL meeting, instead of going himself, reminded me of Good Will Hunting when Ben Affleck goes to the meeting for Matt Damon and demands a retainer.

He’s Dunning–Kruger effect in action. He’s not a visionary or enlightened; he’s just stupid and ignorant and watched a few spurious YouTube videos while taking a dump one time. I have more thoughts, but I’ll leave it at that.

Yeah it's quite clear he didn't write that. 2 times apologizing in that press release, yet talks for 5 minutes in front of cameras and never utters those words.

You can certainly tell the differences in tone between the 2 and how they are not similar at all.

Nets are such a circus.

I disagree. .the hand emoji looks like his....

This game has been hilariously entertaining. It’s like alternating dog shit and highlight reel every other possession for both teams. Sixers really locked it down in the 3rd though. They must have like 2000 blocks, steals, deflections.
