Harrell with his best game by a mile. Decent one last time too. Matisse left an imprint on this one without any real offense stuff. Still would be nice to see a 3 off the bench from anyone other than Niang.

Tucker got some flack when they were losing, and I know he put up 13 tonight, most early, but I think he’s mostly looked like Tucker so far, better or worse….? Porzingis roasted anyone he could shoot over tonight (everyone), so that’s whatever.

Melton and Harden have some good PnR chemistry going on

Melton sets or fakes a high screen against a double or zone, and runs right to the foul line for a lob pass. Easy floater or drive. They run that on repeat, and I love it. It’s like a center play but when they go small. Melton is like the only rotation piece they’ve had in years that isn’t one dimensional, one way or the other.

It’s always nice to see them run plays that aren’t: “Tyrese, 5 seconds left, uh, bail us out.” Still happens a lot.
