That was a bit ridiculous.

B-ball Paul had his coming out party.
Melton is looking really good. On the other hand House only played 9 minutes and is looking like a mistake.
Tucker is on an epic cold streak, but managed to be +12 despite zero points, his defense was that good.
They were forcing the ball to Harris in the 4th and stopped moving, not pretty.

Harrell struggled, Matisse only played 3 minutes and basically stood in the corner, he's not healthy yet.

All Ben Simmons has done lately is return to his mean.....which is good for him if it sustains but still "means" he is the same player he has been since the drama unfolded.

Ironically they have a long history of hating each other lol. I'm talking about SA and Qatar, not the Sixers and Simmons

I, against my brothers. I and my brothers against my cousins. I and my brothers and my cousins against the world.

Tucker's D has been a difference maker last handful of games which is good to see. Need to burn down Da House with Harrell in it. Thybulle I don't think will ever develop properly under Rivers. B Ball Paul has been encouraging at least. Nobody questions his raw skills. Niang is what he is.. .streaky shooter which is how it goes with that skillset ..when he is hot he is hot ....otherwise he becomes a non unathletic factor. Harris unfortunately needs a lot of touches as we see. Won't happen when the big 3 are back. Good to showcase him to the league and maybe unload him and his contract at the trade deadline and get a more complementary piece.

Anybody watching this game on nba.com streaming? If so, did you watch the halftime show? It’s driving me crazy trying to remember what that music is from. I know it’s from a movie I’ve seen fairly recently but I’m drawing a complete blank.

Edit: I think I’ve got it- “Love Actually”

Having a functional backcourt with Milton and Melton is a rotation changer. Lord knows Point Shake has seen its trials and tribulations over the years, but the bench has struggled with functionality early because of the lack of ball handlers, while Shake sat. Injuries can actually breed opportunity and not self-pity, weird concept.

It is nearly a quarter the way through the season and I saw the 76ers and 2nd in defensive rating. Interesting. Milwaukee is 1st and is much further ahead though.

Some absolutely bonkers possessions right now. Lots of NRG.

Matisse probably had the softest touch finish of his life.

Eat shit, John Collins.

Nice win over an annoying team. Trae Young is really easy to dislike with the cheap crap he tries to pull. Of course that’s probably rich coming from a fan of the team that employes James Harden but whatever.

MIlton has really surprised me, now there's some stat padding playing the Magic, but he looks totally different from the pre-season and start of the year, wonder if he was dinged up, because he looks quicker and smoother now. Nice moves to the hoop and he's shooting the "3" with confidence. Gives them something special off the bench if he can keep it up come playoff time.

Melton can be very good, as long as he doesn't try to play hero ball and force things. A man's got to know his limitations. When he plays tight defense and let's the game come to him he's very effective.

B-Ball Paul just keeps getting better, developing some offensive moves (probably developed in the G-league), it's not like he needs a lot, just be able to score from 10' in.

Korkmaz also looks much better than last year now that his hand? is healed.

Even House is coming around, though I still don't trust him.

Suddenly, this team is looking like a deep, talented squad once Harden and Maxey return.

Doc Rivers still needs to be fired....don't care if the depth that was assembled on paper by Morey is now showing some results. If anybody can't be trusted it is Doc Rivers.

Milton has looked better but his passing doesn't look all that great still.

Will be interesting to see how the big three mesh again with the rest of the complementary pieces when and if they are all healthy.

At least lately they are more watchable....

*Side note....Bum Simmons has a bum knee again. This is what gets me with that dude...he remains relevant because he still has athleticism in a big frame despite the fact he still shoots like a grandma playing horse. As the injuries pile up along with age this guy will just remain static unless he adds to his repertoire and develops a work ethic. I still don't see it and come prime time in the playoffs it will be interesting to see how he performs if he is healthy both mentally and physically.

PJ Tucker held scoreless in the last 3 games, scored 3 points the game before that, then scoreless in the 4 before that. 3 points in 8 games. This is basketball, not hockey.

What a bum. 78 points in 21 games as a starter who sees 25-35 min a night.

This might be the worst value contract in any major sports league. 3 yrs 33 mil through his age 39 season. 3rd year is a player option.

Am I missing something here? Isn't Morey supposed to not be the type of idiot who does this?

Tucker keeps putting up positive +/- numbers because he'll defend anyone, sometimes less effectively than others, but he's tenacious as a pit bull, and I think it rubs off on the younger players.

There's only one ball, though he's usually a deadly shooter from the corner, so I suspect that will eventually come around.

Though it's good that Rivers finally realized that Tucker isn't suited to "small team" center.
