How do people feel about Josh Harris as an owner? Is he all right, or is he a prick?
He doesn't seem like the kind of dude I'd like to hang out with but to be honest, as an owner he seems ok. He hired Hinkie and let him do what he wanted, which was a pretty bold move. I don't think you can blame him for the Colangelos since that was kind of forced on him by the league.

Honestly given his financial history with other companies I never expected him to own the Sixers this long. I thought he was simply buying an undervalued asset and once he got the value up it would have been sold. He got the Sixers for $280m and within a few years that was doubled, then tripled, then quadrupled and now I think it's around $2.5 billion or more.

So in a little over a decade he's seen the value increase by almost 1000%... but he's still investing more with building the new arena in center city and everything surrounding it.

At the end of the day he's only here so that he can build the value of his asset. That's all he cares about and it's how he's made his money. He'll milk it for everything it's got and then likely flip it at some point. I wouldn't be surprised to see him build the new Sixers stadium and then sell the team but keep the building. Hell, i've always thought the Prudential Center was the only reason that he bought the Devils.

He's alright to possibly a decent owner for what he is. Absolutely despise hearing the man speak though.

I don't know if I'm happy that Niang is so essential off the bench as a major offensive weapon or concerned that Niang is so essential off the bench as a major offensive weapon. They scarily need his catch and shoot ability because it's slim pickings (in general with bench effectiveness).

I thought Embiid, by necessity, played a much more unit oriented game tonight. Flashed his passing from last season sans Harden. Maxey probably his worst 2 games in god knows when, but tonight was more about just terrible finish than chucking (there was some of that). Reed really shined defensively, slop fest he may be offensively, in a game he got real run.

That was some Jalil Okafor level attempt at defense after he fell down and got up. Dude didn't give a crap about trying to play any D the rest of that possession.
Yeah that was probably worse than Doncic making his legs look like Stretch Armstrong's....

Dude continues to steal money. Where is Silver? He has a player engaging in grand larceny right under his nose....

Ben Simmons 2022-23 Season Stats

PTS: 5.6
REB: 6.0
AST: 6.6
STEALS: $35.5M p/yr

Silver should address the tanking going on in Brooklyn and L.A.

Good to see Reed and Matisse get some PT, they absolutely need these two for the playoffs, it's one thing to play Tucker 20 minutes with fresh legs, play him 30+ and his age will be obvious. And Harrell is tough, but he's got obvious limitations.

A small unit with Maxey, Melton, Matisse and Reed could wreck havoc off the bench.

The Timberwolves one is awful...also that is a team that needs to be blown up...trade KAT and Dlo

They got Rich Eisen.

Problem is they want to win now. And Bassey wasn't going to contribute this season.
Harrell is a legitimate NBA player, and Reed is least a year ahead of Bassey and can play PF as well as small center.

Foster is the one to watch, on a two way deal, very raw but upside.

You know what I never notice when the Sixers play the Hawks? Young playing defense. It’s like they go out of their way to not exploit him nonstop. Atlanta hides him, and the Sixers shrug.

Maxey is just off. He’s really not even attempting to score (besides Embiid this is some brutal offense tonight — first team to hit a 3 wins?). He’s passed the ball decently well though. But *Do Something Meme*.
