Add long athletes and play smothering defense.

Morris should be an upgrade over Tucker.
Not sure Covington has anything left other than shooting 3s, same with Tatum. But Green had nothing left either, so we won't notice.

This is where dumping those young players the last few years hurts, now that we have a HC who could figure out how to use them.

Join the club. NBA trades make no sense to me and I get some PTSD cause it's like differential equations to me now. Pick swaps? Top X protected? Doesn't convert you get Y picks back? Can trade picks up to X many years out. Mid level trade exception that expires?

No. He’s not a major asset or anything, but I preferred him to Mann because his cap hold for next year is tiny. He’s a rim roller and transition guy. Provides some secondary rim protection. Fits Nurse well imo. The shot caps him.

Depends how the team does and who becomes available. Probably more likely in the summer though.

I saw this being sussed out elsewhere and as far as I can tell, it’s true.

The Sixers can now also trade their own 2026 1st as long as they protect it 1-4.

If Morey wants to keep Embiid happy...not sure he waits till the summer unless Embiid said he is ok with punting another year of his dwindling career away again...

I think all the guys they add can shoot 3s at a decent rate, other than Martin.
Problem is can any of the veterans run the floor well enough for a Nurse defense?

Just don't trade the 28 and 29 swap, Clippers are likely to be really bad by then, if the Sixers have to rebuild, that's a great start.
