Duuuuuh, my intelligence is not insulted. :dunce:
Helter Skelter is often referred to as the first heavy metal song. I have to agree. Ozzy is definitely the Godfather of heavy metal. I don’t post “my stuff” here simply because I’m the only one who likes it here which is what I was comparing to the small group of us in high school who liked Ozzy, VH, etc and not Toto, etc. I listen to a LOT of what’s posted in here even though it’s not my cup of meat.

Dedicated to the lovely Rosanna Arquette, sister of David, who is married to "Scream" co-star Courteney Cox,

😛

I said I won’t post videos here because nobody would like them. They play “Let Me Hear You Scream” by Ozzy at TD before the start of the third period. My guess is a lot of people like it and don’t know who it is singing it. The video for it is beyond awesome.

Whenever I see David Bowie I can’t help but think of the “strange” video he and Mick did back in the day.

Bowie and Jagger take the piss, spontaneously covering Martha and the Vandellas "Dancing In the Street,"

Completed in one (long, artificially flavored) night shoot for the 1985 Live Aid concerts.

This, I may recollect poorly, after it was determined that a live hookup between Mick and David would not be practical.

I’m the first to admit when I make a mistake.

I screwed up.

I slept on this album upon its release. That’s on me.

I gave it a thorough listen this afternoon, start to finish. Not just the singles, but every track.

I do not use this term haphazardly:

Thanks for posting. Will ✅.

I got off the Tay Tay train 🚂 for various reasons after "1989,"

my favorite, entire album beyond her debut ("Fearless" a close third)

The car won't start, the roof has caved in, the carpet has been pulled out from under and Donny still has his job

The carpet too is moving under you
It's all over now, Baby Blue

while TS is not my flavor for music, have to respect her. My colleagues daughter was one of the lucky one`s who caught a show in Vancouver last week, not many artists play for almost 3 hours, let alone one`s who, according to my colleague, puts a truly energetic show on

wasn`t sure where to put this, under movie thread, music thread so here we go. Rewatched Searching for Sugarman doc last night, truly one of my favorite music docs. Even if you don`t gravitate towards this type of music, give it a watch, a true genius of an artist who wasn`t given the chance to succeed in the USA

have always been a massive Cars fan and knew Ocasek produced many bands, Weezer among them on two occasions but this is an impressive list of artists

That voice of Ocasek..not the greatest husband though

Ben Orr`s duds classic here

his boy Christopher on this cover of the classic tune from Iggy Pop
