pre-season game Leafs Vs Sabres when John Scott went after Kessel, Clarkson came of the bench and all hell broke lose including Bernier Vs Miller goalie fight.

It was interesting in the stands

First game I guess. 1976 playing Chicago at the Gardens. Two guys (one in a Leafs jersey, one in a Blackhawks jersey) got into a full out fistfight in the stands. Father got me one of those plastic horns they used to sell. Took the subway for the first time - had nightmares for months afterwards.

I was in the end blues when the Leafs came back against the Bruins after being down 6-1 to win it 7-6 in OT. Dec 30 1989. Saw most of the comeback goals with a birds eye view in the North Blues at the Gardens. Those seats were steep.

Same. Also end blues if memory serves.

My first game was around that time vs the Flyers. All I remember is lots of fights (on the ice, not in the stands).

Game 1 of the 2022 playoffs against Tampa

I bought tickets with 35 minutes left and rushed downtown. Best game ever

I was at that game too. Standing room.

But most memorable to me was the Kaskisuo game.

Where this happened:

cbe04510-09b3-11ea-aaff-3e509cabf256

And the game where Matthews scored his 60th last season!

My first game was in the 63-64 season, but I don't remember much about it.

January 8, 1986 (weeks before my sons were born), I watched a shinny game where Mirko Frycer score four goals against Gretzky and the Oilers in an 11-9 Leafs win.

I think it was the third game I’d ever gone to. Still very young. It was a Wednesday game, a weekday game, and the idea of being out late was mind blowing.

My Dad got a pair of second row (maybe third) Golds from work. Hopped on the subway and all sights and sounds and smells (The carts…oh man, so good)…Everything decorated for Christmas…

Not sure but Ill call it the first period and I remember Lanny turning someone inside out, stopped so quick he snowed the glass right in front of us…

Think it was the first game our club won against the Habs in about five years at the Gardens.

We won 3-2…Dec.4th/5th, 1979, I think. Could’ve been ‘78, but all in all it had every irreplaceable unrepeatable element of what a Leafs game could be in Toronto the Good.

March 12, 1990: Minnesota in town at the Gardens. Why was it memorable: I was a big Mike Gartner fan when I was a kid. Uncle got tickets for the Northstars/Leafs, I was excited to see one of my favourite players. WELL, Mike Gartner was traded to the Rangers on March 6, that sucked. Thankfully he became a Leaf a few years later.

Happy

Home opener 2016-2017. First home game for our insane rookie class. Marners first ever goal, fun game.

Sad

Game 4, 2018-2019. Chance at home to go up 3-1 against Boston, some hilarious errors in that one

I’ve attended the Leafs beating the Rangers 9-2 post lockout during the Sundin Raycroft era, Salute Gate during the Kessel Phaneuf era, the Team North America vs Sweden during the World Cup when Matthews deked the socks off Hedman while on his knees. And Leafs Bruins playoffs front row back in 2019. Those were the most memorable nights.

These would be my top 2, though the Niewy Game 7 vs. OTT and Green scoring in triple OT vs Philly to force G7 weree tough omissions

May 25 1999 the buds tie the series against buffalo in the ecf. Great game. And my first game ever at the new Acc.

May 3 2001 the place was wild crazy. The leafs were controlled the game, never trailing once, and domi who had a great game on the tucker-corson line, driving to the net, hitting every devil in sight, drawing penalties, and pissing off stevens wasted his best playoff performance of his career in the late seconds of the game by elbowing nieds. A cheap unnecessary gesture.

It killed the whole vibe. The Acc Went from a mad house to a library.

We still won 3-1 and tied up the series 2-2 but it was a bittersweet and phyrric victory that felt cheap and temporary. Domi was suspended for the rest of the postseason and thinned out the leafs depth.

I was afraid the devils would use this boneheaded incident to wake up from their slumber and they Did as they ultimately won the series in 7

Apr 30 2004 leafs won 3-1 and even the even series. Wild night.

it was the last time they won a 2nd round playoff series game. Can you imagine 19 years later the leafs still haven’t won a second round playoff game.

March 31 2007 Saturday night game against Pittsburgh, leafs take a 4-1 lead but the pens comeback to tie it at 4-4 late in the 3rd

Then kabby slaps shot from the point wins it in OT to keep Toronto alive in the playoff hunt.

Mar 23 2013 leafs break the bruins curse and win 3-2 on mats sundin night. Their first win over Boston since march 2011. Before the game sundin was honored.

May 10 2022 leafs take a 3-2 series lead. Matthews with the winner late in the 3rd. It was a very Fun game!!!!

Thanks so much for this!!!

I was 11 years old and watched this at a sleepover at a friend's house. I fully remember that it was Wendel who scored in overtime.

I've been trying to find highlights of this for years and was starting to think that I had imagined the whole thing.

My most memorable game was infamous, unfortunately. It was game 7 last year.

From the subway or the fight?

The subway but I still remember the fight. I was 7 and had never seen anything like that, But seriously, being a little kid from Hicksville barreling through dark tunnels with lights flashing on and off has stayed with me to this day.

Dave Andreychuk’s first game at the Gardens… game was blacked out so my buddy and I scooped a good deal on some blues right before puck drop.
