I do agree that one of Tort’s biggest errors was trying to turn Laine into something he is not, ie, a puck mover, puck possession guy. Laine is a sniper pure and simple. It was a gallant idea to try to turn him into an all around player. But it has not worked.

I don't blame him for trying it. I blame him for sticking with it to the detriment of the team though.
