Fantastic effort from top to bottom.

Matthews and Marner were dominant on the scoresheet, showed up big time.

Penalty kill was absolutely stellar in every sense of the word. Toronto made Tampa Bay look like an ECHL team on their powerplay, it wasn't even close tonight.

Kudos to Kase for coming in after a few months off due to injury and chipping in two assists.

Campbell didn't need to be dominant, as he didn't need to be the x-factor, but he looked great. He continued right where he left off in his previous regular season game... with a shutout.

I have ZERO complaints with their performances. ZEROOOOOOOO.

The Leafs PK was the MVP tonight.

Leafs really used their speed and T.B couldn't keep up. Leafs defense was poised. That five minute kill set the tone early, it was critical and actually turned the game in the Leafs favour even when scoreless.

Great game one by our Leafs, Campbell played very well, as did our D and especially our PK. Our best players were our best players offensively. But damn, that Leafs #43 sure does end up going over the line, getting penalties and perhaps even more suspensions.

Tonight was just about pure willpower. We just wanted this more, Matthews and Marner wanted this more

We will need soup to win us a game. We will need to win a defensive close tight game. Nylander and Tavares will have to deliver another

That’s just my opinion, but if 1-2 players could win us a series, it would’ve been done last year by nylander Campbell and kerfoot, or against Boston by Matthews Rielly Andersen

We need the team to be a….well team so that means each part of the team makes huge plays in key moments

I would give Kucherov a rough ride every game. He’s a hot head and prone to retaliatory plays and if we can get him to lose his mind focusing on retribution and being dirty that’s better than when he’s on his game.
