Kerfoot had a really good game but he's a step behind Bunting on that line due to the different playing styles and how it gels with Matthews and Marner. Definitely get Bunting in there and move Kerfoot back down.

I think he gets one at least. It was dirty, I want those called for the Leafs sake. Right on the numbers in to the boards. I want it called because I want it called the other way. Never would have said it 20 years ago but call it if you're going to call it.

Good a start as you want, eh? Means jack all for game two, its one, its great, only gets harder. Go Leafs Go.

Kerfoot is also comfortable on any line in any spot while Bunting really hasn't played much away from the top line

The speed they jump to commercials after a whistle you'd think the producer gets a cut of the commission on the commercials aired

I'd go with the same lineup. If you can pick up another win it's not a bad idea to give Bunting extra rest, playoffs are a marathon.
 
Excellent game one to set the tone for the Leafs. Boxed out well, blocked a lot of shots in our own end and didn’t allow many second chances for Tampa.

Atmosphere in the ACC was electric, very nice to have a crowd sounding like that again.

Onto game two. GO LEAFS GO

I was in two minds whether to spend the 364 per ticket or not. I just didn't want to spend close to a grand only to be disappointed so I thought to just stay home.

I think I'll regret this one :(
 
Auston and Mitch came up big and got a little bit of the pressure off themselves which is huge (obviously the weight won't be fully gone until we win at least a series).

Kerfoot, Kampf, Engvall and Mikheyev are all big contributors to this team, it's huge having a bunch of depth guys who play fast 200 ft hockey and can chip in some offense too. These guys to me make our team tough to play against, none of them are overly physical, but their speed is a weapon and they're strong on the puck and win a lot of 50/50 puck battles.

Our D is really solid with the addition of Giordano and Lybushkin, and Liljegren emerging as a real top 4 guy at the perfect moment (Muzzin being out and giving him a chance at more minutes may well have been a big blessing).

Campbell playing solid, hopefully he can get hot.

The one piece I'm a little worried about is JT, he looked slow out there tonight, wasn't very noticable. This team has a chance to go on a real run, but we will need him to be a real 1B center for us when Auston and Mitch aren't firing on all cylinders.
 
Isles fan here, who might actually be a bigger TML fan this series than any of you...plus I still love Tavares, so there's that.

Please, please...win this series. 1 down, 3 to go. You dodged a bullet with a 5 min pk - as we learned the last 2 ECFs - you MUST stay out of the box as they are deadly on the PP. And make sure you hit Kucherov, Hedman and Point at every turn.

We are pulling hard for you, at least the more honest ones ;)

The energy sure seemed electric, watching the broadcast. Great to see the crowd step up--I think it was a factor.
