What a dominant win. One of the most dominant playoff games I've seen this team have. And pretty much everything you'd want to happen did.

PK was insane. That 5 min PK was just *chef's kiss*.
Campbell with the shutout.
Marner ends the goalless streak.
Matthews with 2 goals.
PP converted.
Controlled play and possession.
Beat them down physically.
Scored first and held a lead.
Etc.

Fans were great too. Such a difference atmosphere than the last 2 years.

I used to watch in the early 90s (92-94) with Tatanka being my favorite but im not familiar with the next generation of wrestlers.

Ah well the Sheik was a good 5-10 years prior to Tatankas time.

Sadly (or so I'm told) I am still into it. Had some real good ones through the 90s and early 2000s. With a couple of great to good alternatives to WWE it's getting much better too.

I think people would be singing a different tune about Clifford if Tampa scored 2 on that major to sewer us right out of the gate. All the credit goes to the rest of the team for showing the resolve they did.

As far as Clifford goes, you can't give him another look in this series. He brings nothing to the table as a *hockey* player, and takes dumb penalties all over the ice. Inexcusable to have him in the lineup over Spezza.

Near perfect game, assuming Rielly's knuckles are fine that is. And Liljegren could have gotten on the scoreboard but that's not important really.

A shout out to all those people who were losing their minds because Dubas didn't give up a boatload of futures for MAF.

Campbell was rock solid, Matthews was Matthews and perhaps the most enjoyable part of tonight was watching Marner carry over his regular season excellence into the playoffs! We killed the shit out of that penalty in the 1st, that set the tone for the rest of the night. I sure hope that this is a sign of what these playoffs are going to be like for us Leaf fans, if so then this is going to be a fun ride!

To be fair, Maroon wanted to get away from Reilly to get to someone else but Reilly didn’t let him lose so Maroon just went with him.

Impresssive fantastic win. Should build huge confidence for this team. I thought the crowd was amazing. I criticize it sometimes but that was a playoffs crowd. Our entire played like they were on a mission. That 5 minute PK though. I could watch it on repeat. That was video game stuff.

It's one i've been thinking about. I think Keefe could go back for one more look given the physical nature of this. If Clifford lets him down again... he doesn't play another shift.

The 3rd period confirmed Clifford must start. What he did is equivalent to your first liner missing a wide open net in overtime. You're not going to sit the first liner next game.

He got carried away but he's still needed for this series. Tampa bottom 6 is all trash looking to play dirty. Perry Maroon Bellemare Killorn then those two useless guys Paul and Hagel. We can afford to dress Clifford, Tampa isn't deep any more we can run them into the ground with skill and grit (the grit from Clifford falls in goon type grit but I do feel it's needed for this series over Spezza).
