As for getting rid of both 4th lines, that's fine as long as they are consistent. If Maroon and Perry are out there headhunting Wednesday and they do nothing to stop them, we need to answer. Tonight was just about pure willpower. We just wanted this more, Matthews and Marner wanted this more

We will need soup to win us a game. We will need to win a defensive close tight game. Nylander and Tavares will have to deliver another

That’s just my opinion, but if 1-2 players could win us a series, it would’ve been done last year by nylander Campbell and kerfoot, or against Boston by Matthews Rielly Andersen

We need the team to be a….well team so that means each part of the team makes huge plays in key moments

Yep and the question for game 2 - will they be ready for what's coming? Because they certainly got Tampa's attention and have undoubtedly woken them up.

Leafs had a big win against Tampa in March, Tampa responded with that big beating. They'll be pushing hard to do the same thing in game 2. I think Campbell might have to steal that one.

That had everything you want in a Leaf game. Matthews and Marner both on the scoresheet, Campbell razor sharp with the shutout, PK lethal, didn't shrink away from the physical stuff. But best of all was how smothering we were with the puck pressure.

Give me 15 more of those please!

It was done and over then Simmonds went right for Hedman. He played it so smart to that point, but it wasn't the right move by him.

Doesn't excuse the bullshit Maroon did after that or Perry's sucker punch, but he should have kept on the initial skate away thought.
