Sweden is 6 hours ahead, meaning the Friday game will start at 2pm, and the Sunday game will start at 8am in the Eastern time zone.
It hasn’t, just these international games.I didn't know next season schedule had been released yet.
Feel sorry for any Leaf fans near Minnesota, they won't get to see the Leafs next season.
The NHL and NHLPA, in conjunction with Live Nation, today announced plans for the 2023 NHL Global Series -- Sweden, which will feature the Red Wings, Wild, Senators and Maple Leafs in a slate of four regular-season games to take place Nov. 16-19 at Avicii Arena in Stockholm. The 2023 NHL Global Series is promoted by Live Nation Sweden, with official partners CCM, Fastenal, SAP and Upper Deck. Aftonbladet and Viaplay will serve as the official media partners of the event. The series will highlight a regular-season record four NHL clubs in one European city for games and will mark the first time the Maple Leafs will play NHL regular-season games outside of North America (NHL).
I didn't want to be the first one to say it.Meh.
Cool! Kinda wish Sandin was still around for it but hey.
I'll try to do the same. It's been a long time coming for me.Great news- I'll be there. When do tickets go on sale?
Tired joke that's never been true. It’s cheaper to fly to Sweden that pay for Golds at Maple Leaf Gardens.
Jokes aren't expected to be true, that's why they're called jokes.Tired joke that's never been true.
I would think they would get some type of break when they get back. Why November? Do it to start the season a week before the rest of the league so the teams can have a few extra days rest after they come back. Also not a fan of losing a Saturday night game.
Thumbs down from me.
2 road games so the leafs dont lose home game ticket sales! love it! lol
Jarnkrok is thefe. Holmberg if he makes it next yearIf they traded willy…. Is Timmy the only Swede on the roster?
