That's one of those local things I always wished had remained A Thing. Was a good logo.

Of course it feels like everyone forgot the Renegades too, so the Robins being totally forgotten isn't a shock I guess.

Yeah, I had an old school friend who worked with Dan. Then one day he got a call from a Philly area code, and it was Holmgren offering him a minor league contract mid season in a year where we burned through just about every dman in the org. He couldn't do it at the time for whatever reason, I think.

Actually, it's likely Dan that your friend was neighbors with. I think he's the only one of the bros who went local

Debatable, since professional face punchers and players from half a century ago are most of the reason the state of this team is so bad

On this front I'm pretty sure it was an AHL contract. Which was WAY above Dan's skill level. And showed how desperate the team was at that point. They'd run through everything.

Might be part of why he turned it down; not worth it to get turnstiled every night.
