Yeah I was actually thinking about that the other day, that the habs were probably to worst team ever (rank wise) to win an elimination round and get access to the playoffs.

Lurking Bruins fan here. Congrats on the series win. 2014 still haunts me as much as two goals in 17 seconds or Binnington’s first period in game 7 last year. Think that was clearly a bigger upset, even if the Habs had a better record that season.

Good chance Boston wins the cup that year if they don't lose to Montreal. And Price came within a game 7 OT goal of preventing them from winning a cup in 2011 as well.
