This show is really really good! Might be my favorite Netflix show behind HoC.

Been watching it, it's pretty decent some parts are cliched, but I'm liking it. Very Baz Luhrmanny, so if you don't like his style beware.

It gets better after the first few episodes. If you guys want a good read on the birth of hip hop and life back then you should check out Can't Stop Won't Stop by Jeff Chang, this show is so much better having read it.
