This is my list of significant players and personnel who came to the Kings to win their first Cup. To qualify, they have to have no Cup wins obviously, then have either a Final loss or many playoff seasons. So Penner, Scuderi and Williams don't count. Also, they can't have been a rookie if they were in the Final so no Matt Greene either.

Jarret Stoll - 1st win 2012...2006 Final w/Oilers
Darryl Sutter - 1st win 2012...2004 Final w/Flames
Willie Mitchell - 1st win 2012...multiple playoffs
Mike Richards - 1st win 2012...2010 Final w/Flyers
Jeff Carter - 1st win 2012...2010 Final w/Flyers
Simon Gagne - 1st win 2012...2010 Final w/Flyers
Robyn Regher - 1st win 2014...2004 Final w/Flames
Marian Gaborik - 1st win 2014...multiple playoffs

Am I missing anyone or anything major?




I think it's good for the Kings to be looked at by the rest of the veteran players of the NHL as THE place to get a Cup. We lost out on a guy like Hossa because of that. I'd like to get all of those players, including re-signing them in the off-season...like we did with Regher and we hope to do with a guy like Sekera.
