Pretty incredible story: Six consecutive penalties were called against Toronto Maple Leafs in a playoff game against Boston Bruins – but they killed all of them. The game went on to become the second-longest in NHL history.

I'm not much of a history buff but I do believe the first great rivalry on ice was the Vikings vs the Romans. And before that, wooly mammoths vs the mighty protozoa
