This year, the Bruins are going above and beyond. Not only are their St. Patrick’s Day jerseys very green, they’re also very plaid.

Nope. No. Nay. Never. No more. Nuh-uh.

I will never for the life of me understand why for the last three years the Bruins got a home game on or near St. Patrick's Day. I mean, from a marketing standpoint, perhaps there's another team whose name, logo, colors, and mascot connect with the holiday just a little bit better?

It also seems weird to me to make and market jerseys that aren't in the teams color that only make sense one day of the year. Yes, the WC jerseys will have been worn in only 4 games this year, but they're the right color, and they have a little bit of significance. You buy a green jersey, and it just looks kind of odd wearing it in November.

I can only hope they don't wear this Scottish monstrosity for the actual game...hope it's just for warmups, like they usually are.

At least it's illegal for them to hike up the price of beer on St. Patrick's day. Sláinte!

Designed by the House of MacGregor.

From the picture it looks like bites out of the shoulders. I guess they're supposed to be shamrocks.....white shamrocks.

It may be green but it ain't Irish!

So they raided Don Cherry's closet for the design? Wow.

I get it...capitalize on the "Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day" theory, but those are pretty atrocious

horrible....posted it on the aussie bruins fans facebook i started today and all the boys and girls on there gave it the same response

YIKES...

I've seen some bad unis, but this is REALLY bad. Anyone who actually PAYS for one of these should have his credit cards taken away and a more responsible member of the family should be given control of the finances.

A complete waste in every sense.

Gross. Thank god they don't wear these in a game or I'd change the channel.
