Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. RE3 actually arrived yesterday for me. Haven’t had a chance to play too far yet, but it’s stunning. And the gameplay is so transparent it’s almost disconcerting...

If y'all are looking for a Free-to-play MMOFPS that makes Battlefield battles look small, might I recommend checking out Planetside 2? It's seen a fairly decent resurgence in population since the most recent update dropped.

I've never played a RE game. In your opinion do I need to play others in the series or is this a game I would be able to just pick up and go? I should have God of War finished this week and I'm going to need something after FF7R. Tempted to give this a go.

Imo 2, 3, 4 and 7 are the must-plays of the series, though I am by no means an expert

Change is good.
They all stand alone just fine. But if you haven't yet played the RE2 remake from last year, it's fantastic also – start there simply for economic reasons.

Just as good as the RE2 remake. Highly recommend. It’s not a long game, I started playing today and I think I can beat it by at least tomorrow.

To be clear, it's infinitely more fun if you're part of an outfit (think Clan in most other games), which I quite fortunately am. And can provide a Discord link if any of you are starting for the first time (basically as long as you can listen we're totally cool with you joining lol)

Finished RE3. Great experience.
The RE1 remake is undoubtedly the definitive version of that game. The RE2&3 remake I can't say the same for, only for the fact that they are so different it's like they are completely new games, whereas RE1 remake was the same game/camera scheme with added areas. That being said, RE2&3 remakes stand on their own as classics.

So with retail stores closed like GameStop am going to pre-download FFVII, will do it tomorrow.
I am almost finished with my replay of Zelda BOTW , so perfect timing. Hope there are no download issues later this week.

it looks amazing. Hope downloading it won’t be an issue, I usually buy hard copies of my games.
Amazing that its scoring as high as it is given the massive expectations.
What ever the aggregate score ends up being, you can tack on 5 pts to that to make up for guys who are bitter about turn based being taken away+that one asshole who just wants to be different.

My automatic download starter like 3 days ago? Aim all set? Or do I still need to do something? It says it’s already installed , about 86 gb and now just giving me a countdown timer. I’m confused because SE only just today announced you can pre load it

You are good to go. Preloading began on April 3rd so it auto downloaded for you, your game is fully installed already.

If you bought it digitally already you should be able to already pre download the game.

i've never played ff7 but that actually sounds interesting. love jrpgs but IMO action rpg is the better genre, unless the game is chrono trigger.

I just pre-ordered. Hopefully did it in time it said was still available. There is now a timer on the preview box.
Not so much Zelda as much as more DMC'ish with some elements kept in that allow you to slow time down and choose what you want to do. The remake is very, very much an action RPG.
Chrono Trigger desperately needs a remaster.
