Scheduled to start the season together again?

Will all 3 get pp time?

What kind of projection are in store for the 3?

Such a great line during the playoffs, but both wingers are so young I am guessing it's no lock they play the whole year together.

Yep.

Pearson might not get much but Carter and Toffoli should be on the 1st and 2nd pp unit respectively. Toffoli will only get PP minutes if Darryl Sutter is happy with the way he's playing though. That will probably be judged on a game to game basis.

Your guess is as good as mine :)
I think Toffoli can hit 20 goals with a bit of luck and consistent time on a scoring line, Carter his usual numbers, Pearson is harder to project...

They'll get shuffled around, spend some time on the 4th line and the bench... They're young players in a Darryl Sutter coached team, they'll be used in all kinds of situations and if they aren't giving it their all every night they'll be the first to get bumped.

Good luck with your fantasy team :)

Toffoli kind of paid his dues last year though and seems to have his stuff together coming into camp this year. I don't see any scenario that pushes him out of the top 6 and imagine he's the Kings' big breakout candidate this year. I expect Pearson, bless him, to have some sophomore ups-and-downs, but he gets his points by working and churning and that shouldn't ever go away--though I do suspect his production is tied to Carter and Toffoli (and I wouldn't expect his playoff pace to keep up--though he'd certainly be a great darkhorse pick in a late fantasy round). Carter is going to beast out as always. That being said, you have some balls looking to the Kings for your fantasy team!

agreed

If you pick up Toffoli or Pearson, I would do it in later rounds

This is seriously one of the greatest Photoshops ever, the expressions on the faces they used are so hilariously appropriate it makes me LOL every single time

More on-topic, I actually expect great things from this line this season. It's true that TT and Pearson should probably be expected to stumble a bit, being so green, but they're both skilled, intelligent, hard workers who can clearly handle big game situations, so I give them a better than even chance to have a relatively consistent and productive season.

Whatever happens, it is going to be the performance of the kids themselves that determines what happens to this line -- because if Chicago can't find a good way to contain them, I don't know who can. If they pick up where they left off, they're one of the most offensively dangerous 2nd lines in the league.

If all goes well, and Sutter keeps them together for the most part, I don't see any reason Toffoli won't pot at least 25. He'll need some PP time which will help, but the guy is a sniper, who we were told allegedly could not skate at an NHL level. Kings skating coach needs a raise, because all of a sudden, he has some wheels. He is prime time to break out big time, he just needs consistent minutes and skilled line mates. He is a pretty good passer too. Book it!

@ OP: You doin' Fantasy Hockey...?

Just get this Strategy Book and you should be good.

Or better yet, if you need a goalie just draft Dan Cloutier. He'll be good, trust me.

It's hard to score even 20 Goals in the NHL. The Kings haven't had a 30G scorer since 2009-10 in Kopitar. Only two players broke 20G last season with J-Dub at 19G.

People are going to be disappointed when the Kings struggle to break top ten offense in the league once again, and Toffoli/Pearson struggle.

Pessimist.
