First 3 choices are easy: Crosby, Ovi, Jagr. Fourth spot, I went with Malkin, but you could reasonably argue for either him or Kane there. They have very similar hardware (1 Art Ross, 1 Smythe, multiple cups, etc.).

Was tempted to take Kane bc of the "original 6 superstar" factor but it's honestly Malkin. He has one extra Art Ross, a better hart trophy win, a better Conn Smythe and is basically an equal at worst in every other department career wise.

Kane and Malkin are really close for #4. Thornton is my #5 and then Kopitar/Roenick.

For one or two seasons, Thornton was the best player on the planet

Kane and Malkin always played in the shadow of Crosby and Ovechkin, and even tho Malkin was better than them one season, even than, if you had to draft them again, you'd still pick Crosby and Ovechkin
