Button’s latest has both Lekkerimaki (11th) and Willander (14th) near the top.
2 prospects in the top 15 is pretty rad. I know I'll have haters but Vancouver has a very under rated prospect pool. Tons of Dmen that most teams should be jealous of.

I'm hoping for a swap of one of Kudryavtsev/Mynio for a similarly promising centre. There's not much room at left D, what with Hughes, M.Pettersson, DPetey, and there's nothing but tweeners at centre.

I agree that there's quality in what I consider to be the top four (Mynio being the fourth), plus Kudryavtsev and Raty are respectable B prospects and we'll see soon enough about Mancini. It's very thin after that, especially in light of the fact that we have no 2024 pre-4th round choices remaining in the organization.

Brampton won 10-3 tonight. Alrikson had no points, no shots, and was +1. His production has just tanked.

This was predictable when he was traded.

He went from a bad team which was a great developmental situation for him getting looks in all situations and lots of offensive opportunity next to Luchanko to being a depth guy for an elite team where Rehkopf-Misa-Martone are one of the most dominant offensive trios in the CHL and get all the offensive looks and opportunities.

He got off to a decent start while those guys were at the WJCs and since they got back his production has predictably tanked. It would have been far better for him just to stay in Guelph.

that's a gorgeous goal, and reminds me of when we saw that clip of granato talking to harvey at the draft table about making sure that they got the pick right when selecting a C player over one that has a B- projection. i thought they were talking about mynio because his stats were pretty tepid, but perhaps there was more skill to him than his production indicated.

The thing is that neither of those prospects is going to get a legit top 6 type of center in return.

I wasn't proposing such a return (though it's possible they could be part of a package to get such a return).
Okay that's fair I guess but trading for a legit top 6 center prospect is extremely difficult.
