My guess is 22. 21 if Doughty plays backup goalie.

10 - Who will be the alternate captains? (2:27) - Don't care. Let the players/coaches pick this and move on. I couldn't be bothered to find a **** to give who has a letter. Once teams started handing those out to teenagers just cause they were the first overall pick, the importance of this died in my books.

9 - Will any camp invitees be offered contracts? (6:07) - Can't listen to the podcast at work, so I didn't hear, but who are the camp invitees ?

8 - Where will each of the 7 goalies begin the season? (7:18) - Peterson and Quick are in the NHL, after that it's where they can get them the most minutes. I assume some split duties in the AHL/ECHL to maximize time will be needed.

7 - Where will Vladimir Tkachyov begin the 2021-22 season? (9:40) - AHL unless he goes bat **** crazy in camp

6 - What does the left side of the defense look like to start the season? (10:45) -Dreadful

5 - Will Iafallo and Brown start the season on the top line? (20:29) - If they do then trading for Arvidsson was a waste of resources and I assume Drew will jersey Blake at centre ice the first chance he gets

4 - How many centers will be on the Kings roster at the end of training camp? (25:15) I assume you mean guys who can play C. Eight (Kopi, Danault, Iafallo, Anathasiou, Vilardi, Lizotte, Byfield and Turcotte). The last three are questionable of course.

3 - Will any players be claimed off waivers? (29:50) - You mean us losing guys? Fingers crossed, yes. *Stares at Maatta with Samuel L. Jackson intensity*

2 - Will any players be traded before the season starts? (29:50) - Nope

1 - Where will Quinton Byfield begin the 2021-22 season? (38:33) - I think he slides in on the wing actually to start because he's going to have a good camp and wing is the easiest spot to ease someone into the line up. Possible he's 3C and Turcotte goes to the wing instead though.

9 - Will any camp invitees be offered contracts? - No one stands out to me on the list of available journeymen except Mark Jankowski. So to answer, none.

8 - Where will each of the 7 goalies begin the season? - LA: Petersen/Quick, ONT: Vilalta/Sparks, ECHL: Ingham/Parik/Hrenak

6 - What does the left side of the defense look like to start the season? - Anderson/ Edler / Maata / Clague

5 - Will Iafallo and Brown start the season on the top line? In absence of regime change, yes.

4 - How many centers will be on the Kings roster at the end of training camp? - 4, Kopitar / Danault / Vilardi / Lizotte.

3 - Will any players be claimed off waivers? No, even if there are significant injuries or players claimed off the Kings

2 - Will any players be traded before the season starts? - No, management made their big changes over the summer and no one is calling about Lizotte, Maata, Wagner, etc.

1 - Where will Quinton Byfield begin the 2021-22 season? - AHL. Even if he’s ready for NHL action this year we’ll never know because he’s blocked by Kopitar and Danault. If the Kings clearly suck by December, then the window opens.

I think Danault gets an "A". Part of the reason he signed was as a mentor, and I think the Kings want every Center on the roster to show that level of defensive responsibility before they make the team.

9 - Will any camp invitees be offered contracts? - nope, not enough contracts to give out, or spots on the NHL roster. Maybe AHL guys.

7 - Where will Vladimir Tkachyov begin the 2021-22 season? AHL as he learns NA game.

6 - What does the left side of the defense look like to start the season? Anderson, Edler, Clague, Wolanin - Bjornfot 1st pairing AHL, Maatta waived--battle for bottom spots will be Clague/Wolanin/Maatta

5 - Will Iafallo and Brown start the season on the top line? (20:29) 1 of the 2 yes. other wing will be Kempe or Arvidsson.

4 - How many centers will be on the Kings roster at the end of training camp? (25:15) 13.

3 - Will any players be claimed off waivers? (29:50) Nope, see above re: contracts/roster spots.

2 - Will any players be traded before the season starts? I do believe depth for depth pick or two. Have to start hitting the recycling bin.

1 - Where will Quinton Byfield begin the 2021-22 season? AHL #1C for big minutes being 'the guy.' Breaks in halfway thru season, never looks back.
