Not gonna give him credit for getting rid of the caricature when he brought him in. And the Wilson thing was a nothing burger.
 
For all the shit Dolan gets, he's not a bad hockey owner. Everyone in the game talks about how they are a first class organization. We are always a premiere destination for free agents. He always spends whatever it takes. Tell me one guy who walked away from NY because they got a better deal elsewhere. Even the guys who we are going to have to let go this off-season will be because of cap restrictions, not Dolans willingness to write the check. Alot of owners put an inferior team out there because of financial reasons. Dolan has never hesitated to do everything he can to make this team better. He's a terrible NBA owner because good talent refuses to work for him, but as an NHL owner I don't think you could ask for more than he's delivered.

I feel like the Knick fans out there wished this was true for them. Let's keep hoping that the Knicks keep Dolan busy and he just keeps writing the checks for the Rangers.

Think that's because Dolan himself has said that he doesn't completely understand hockey and will defer to people that know more.

Unfortunately, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about basketball (as well as fronting a band).
 
If we're making a push for anyone... It should be RO'R.
