Not to mention Bergeron was out with a concussion, Savard came back early from concussion and the Flyers made sure to injure Krejci who was killing it at the time. That moment is one of the best as a Bruins fan for sheer joy, winning the Cup in 2011 was obviously the best for my lifetime since I was so young in 1972 and didn't appreciate it the way I do now.
I had a co-worker who is a Flyers fan and he watches the Bruins/Flyers series from 2010 over and over, and loves it every time.....that's all he has got. I remind every time he says something and teases me about it that the Flyers won nothing that year, that we swept them the next year and went on to win the Cup, and then I thank him for giving the Bruins the kick they needed....lol Pretty sad though for him, my memories are so much better.
I don't agree, the tables haven't turned at all - the Leafs are still a joke and have had the talent to do better for years, they still choked big time in the second round, it was a joke they even made it there against a beaten up Tampa team. I'd rather be a Bruins fan.My how the tables have turned.
The choke's now on the Bruins and the Leafs made it to the 2nd round for the first time since the mid 2000s.
and even after all that it was still 3-0 Bruins game 7, after 17 min of the first. Not to mention Bergeron was out with a concussion, Savard came back early from concussion and the Flyers made sure to injure Krejci who was killing it at the time.
Yes unbelievable, had the Bruins been fully healthy they easily sweep the Flyers and could have won it all. The only saving grace for me, was that the Flyers in the next round knocked out the habs in 5 games, after they fluke series wins over Washington and Pittsburgh. If Boston had won game 7, I fear we lose to the habs again with all the injuries, but with Bergeron, Savard and Krejci all healthy we would have kicked their poutine arses.and even after all that it was still 3-0 Bruins game 7, after 17 min of the first.

Only team the Bruins can beat in a game 7 at home anymore, and the reality is even this game the Bruins sucked other than the last couple of minutes, and that was just the Leafs choking.
If there going to the finals the second time in 5 years it really doesn’t say that it’s solely because of the coach ,seems maybe they had a pretty good team.I'd rather be a Vegas Golden Knights fan. Their team is on the verge of going back to the cup finals for the second time in five years. BTW who's coaching that team again? Hmmmmmmm...
I hope the Leafs never changeThe Leafs perennially puke on themselves and it will never change. As far as I'm concerned, luck's run out this time with the Bruins drawing Toronto in the near future.

We were 59 seconds, a few high flip clears, and some icings away from moving on. That series will be remembered for a lot of things, including Ullmark’s unbelievable giveaway in OT and an inability to close out a game 7 win at home with a lead and less than a minute to go. It’s a long ride until next April. Meanwhile, in other news, the Sox have given up 19 runs in their last two games. Waiting for the NHL draft and seeing if we make some deals before then.Well now we have an idea as to how the Leafs fans felt back then. We shouldn't be so quick to laugh at them or the Leafs, given that our choke job was 1,000,000 times worse.
Don't forget the Marchand no goal breakaway at the end of game 5.We were 59 seconds, a few high flip clears, and some icings away from moving on.
