Work for the two new rinks, Cuda offices, etc, been going on a while.

Floor poured in April.

New display about to be hung (SAP Center also getting new display this summer).

They'll be hosting AHL ASG in 2024

Is that an actual standalone arena or is that Sharks practice facility?
There will be six rinks, largest public ice facility in US, when completed, including TechCU Arena. It is physically attached to the Sharks Ice location, but separate entrances for paying public.

Sharks have practice facilities, locker rooms, work out, etc. And the Barracuda have theirs (separate facility from NHL).

Guessing the SJSU ice hockey team may use arena as well..

There's a pro shop, Stanley's restaurant (over looks three of the rinks), snack bar (and vending machines).

New arena will have multiple bars (including one at ice level) and Calder's restaurant, and patio opening outside (2nd floor). Barracuda also have their staff offices there. (Sharks staff HQd at SAP Center. )

SJSU should upgrade to NCAA D1. All of California's FBS schools should. The big 4 would go to the Big Ten with Cal and Stanford as associates. The Cal State schools might end up being independent.

Would require equivalent female sport. Where's the $$ for scholarships and programs coming from?

Grand opening. Largest recreational ice facility in North America

$78m economic impact projected. LEEDS certified. Generate a lot of their own power. Electric Zambonis.
