Here is a list of teams that I feel got the best value for the picks they had. Essentially, these are the teams that I think made the most of every pick.

List which teams you thought got the best value.

Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets are probably my winners of the draft. Obviously, we all love the Adam Fantilli pick at #2. However, they had a very strong draft overall. Gavin Brindley (34th overall) was ranked in my top 15, William Whitelaw (66th overall) is a very talented player that I ranked early 2nd round), Andrew Strathmann (98th overall) is a very good offensive defenseman I love his potential, and Luca Pinelli (114th overall) was ranked a lot higher on my list and many others.

You could be looking at 5 players they drafted being NHL players.

Carolina Hurricanes
Like every year, Carolina seems to draft guys with a lot of skill late in the draft and they seem to have a philosophy of always having a lot of draft picks. I liked the Nadeau and FUS picks in the first and second round. But, I loved the Jayden Perron (3rd round), Alexander Rykov (4th round), and Timur Mukhanov (6th round) picks. Great value players. If those three players were two inches taller, they would’ve been drafted a lot higher.

Seattle Kraken
I loved Seattle’s draft. From round 1-7 I think they did a great job. Eduard Sale (20th overall) is great value in the first round for a good player. However, to draft Carson Rehkopf (50th overall), Oskar Fisker-Molgaard (52nd overall), Lukas Dragicevic (57th overall), and Caden Price (84th overall) is just tremendous. They essentially drafted 5 guys in a row that could’ve all justifiably been first round picks.

Zaccharya Wisdom (212th overall) in the 7th round is a good sleeper pick as well.

Philadelphia Flyers
What could possibly be better value than Matvei Michkov at 7th overall? Players of that magnitude do not fall that far in drafts. I wasn’t a huge fan of Oliver Bonk at 22nd overall but Carson Bjarnason (51st overall), Denver Barkey (95th overall), Alex Ciernik (120th overall), and Matteo Mann (199th overall) are good picks.

LA Kings
The Kings had 5 picks in the draft and I think they did a good job. Jakub Dvorak (54th overall) dealt with injury for a lot of the year and has good potential. Koehn Ziemmer (78th overall) was a real steal in my opinion. I think he could be a solid NHL player with his well-rounded game. Matthew Mania (150th overall) was a very good pick in the fifth round. EliteProspects had him at #46
