He's an RFA, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Kreider has played at the WC fairly often. Trouba used to as well but it's been awhile. Fox only played once as a college player. Lindgren has never played. Trocheck never shows up.

Only positive is a few guys who have been willing to show up here multiple times or some younger guys who haven't played much if at all in the tournament. Hopefully at least a 1-2 have the itch and aren't injured.

We'll probably just end up with Jimmy Vesey.
Tyler Motte!

cpt.America mr. Patrik Kane is free, he loves to play for U.S. How about Johnny Hockey ? .. i hope roster will annouce soon maybe today ?

Colin Blackwell from the Hawks would be a welcome add. Came before has 1 year to go on contract would be a solid pker and 3rd or 4th line center. Surprised his name not mentioned.

Forward Blake Lizotte...left open the possibility, with Lizotte implying it was something he would put some thought into today...

Forward Trevor Moore and defenseman Matt Roy both indicated they would turn down any potential invitation for personal reasons, with Moore’s naturally including the recent birth of his son.

Lot of info from Rangers regarding their Europeans but nothing really about our guys...

USA should really be over college players. Their season has been over for a while, they are young and would probably be excited about the possibility about traveling to another country and representing the national team since they would mostly be graduated from the junior teams already.

I have heard that Cutter Gauthier and Dylan Samberg are joining Team USA.

Both solid additions. We're finally starting to hear about the college players after we'd only heard about Luke Tuch originally now with Commesso and Gauthier playing. I imagine we'll see a couple more. Hopefully Cooley is on board and it's just not out there yet.

We finally have a defenseman!

They usually are and we usually hear about the college players signing on pretty early in the process. Not sure if the difference this go around is because everything has been so quiet across the board or if they're now tapping college players later than normal because the NHL acceptances have been tough to get.

Realistically, they just need to hold off Denmark, France, Austria and Hungary in the group stage and hopefully avoid Canada in the cross-over (USA is in the harder group this year), and they have a good chance to reach the Semis if they match up with like a Switzerland or Slovakia again.

Walman was not among the 11 first players who were leaked from Canadian roster.. Maybe he joined us after all.
