There have been good enough teams to win over the past 10 years ago. Just can't get over that semifinal hurdle.

There were also teams that on paper shouldn't have amounted to much but became more than the sum of their parts (remember Matt Hendricks being captain that one time lol)... only to end with similar results in the dreaded semifinals

Seems like no matter what approach USAH rolls with, bronze is our ceiling at Worlds

Yes, not a spectacle, but still good hockey.
Team USA was very cool-headed in front of the goal and has already found its way around the larger ice surface.

Have to imagine that if the Blues lose, Jimmy Snuggerud becomes the top realistic option to get. He has been one of their top 3 forwards this entire playoffs, so would fit in nicely.

Is this a serious question. Or are you not aware what other sports are available to kids in the US ? Especially in the southern warmer states. There is so much access to all sports.
