he spit off about a gallon of blood as he skated off... at least he skated off though... no offical news on it

Only Sundin and Forsberg are as commited to Team Sweden as Norström. If he can stand on a pair of skates, he'll be there.

Apparently he will play on Thursday.

Status report: The Kings apparently escaped more injury trouble in Monday's overtime loss. Defenseman and team captain Mattias Norstrom left the game when he was hit in the face by a shot in the second period, but Murray said he expects Norstrom to play on Thursday.

Norstrom lost at least one tooth, suffered damage to at least four others and required stitches.
