Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Also something to add, the Swedish hockey federation wants to sign Grönborg to a multiple year contract to work with the team. I don't know how I feel about this. We've had worse coaches for sure. The players seem happy about him. Meh, maybe it's a good thing? Every coach has his flaws, are we fine with Grönborg's? He's not doing some outlandish team assignments, like many, many coaches have done in the past, he actually seems to have some resemblance of understanding player quality. I don't agree with all of it, but the disagreements are minor (dumping Brännström), it's not like the idiots in the past dumping Hedman or Holmström for example.
He still has some work to do with the other three lines, but like I said, at least he didn't dump Hedman. Or was that him? My memory is too short.

I don’t really have confidence in him as a game coach, I also feel like he has a tendency not to admit when the team is not doing well, like after the Czech game or the Germany game in the olympics, or the team Europe game in the world cup. This for me is the biggest problem, if you loose a game and the coach says ”well the other team did well to shut us down, we tried our very hardest” then how the hell are you supposed to improve?

Not a match coach. He puts on 4 lines and then roll it rest of tournament.

Neither of those would be interested. They make a lot more money coaching their SHL teams. I would not be against the idea of letting an SHL coach do both though.

This is something I'd really like to see, bring in guys who are actively coaching like USA and Canada does.
Good, actually really good, why he is playing less than extremely limited players like de la rose, Larsson(Johan), and Pääjärvi is beyond anyone with a brain. He should be on the second Or first pp unit replacing a defenseman. With the little edge we have right now we really can’t afford to use Kempe like this, he is clearly more skilled than any forward not named Rakell, Pettersson or Zibanejad.

I assume they only went "hey would you like to come if we ask you later on?" to Hagelin, this is good if Nashville gets knocked out, if they don't we could still get Hörnqvist + Sörensen, who should get invited before Hagelin either way, and after that invite Melker I guess? Maybe?
Best case scenario obviously Hörnqvist + Forsberg + Arvidsson

He's world class at what he's good at, screening the goalie and looking for deflections, tap-ins and rebounds. It could work on the right line and I bet he's the best we can put in front of the net on the PP. He would enhance the shots, especially from the blueline, by alot.
He's a great role player. That he hasn't scored much for Sweden, well, it's a short tournament. He's better than a guy like Everberg, that's for sure.

I agree. Lias Andersson looks like a grinder compared to EP. I hope Grönborg has the guts to sit him instead of EP.

hörnqvist should play with skilled players, he should not be wasted on bottom 6. he had 49 points in 70 games .

I think it depends how pettersson is playing these two upcoming games. Pressure is on.

Yeah, that was a weird accusation. I criticize bringing over Pettersson immediately, because I think it would be bad for him, regardless of how skilled he currently is. How is that hating the Canucks? That's looking out for their and Pettersson's best interests.

He's had one bad tournament with Tre Kronor; where he had 0 pts in 3 games(worlds), other than that he's had 6 in 9 twice(worlds), 2 in 4(olympics), and 1 goal in 4(world cup). One of the worlds all his 6 pts was all goals.
Great news to have him joining, he'll also be our oldest player.

Pettersson doesnt have anything more to prove in SHL. Scoring leader regular season, scoring leader playoffs. He can only do worse in SHL.
AHL/NHL it is.

hörnqvist is like landeskog, he is a perfect add
bad ? he was good in world cup 2016, wc 2007 and wc 2008.
if we cant get forsberg, arvidsson, ekholm then next in should be sörensen, melker karlsson and pilut
