Isn't Pääjärvi also without a contract though?
Different cases, Pääjärvi might not even get offered a contract. Karlsson will sign by far the most important contract of his career.

One of the Sharks d-men would be nice on the bottom pairing to replace Wikstrand. What's their status?
They will obviously wait until Ekholm is out of the picture, if he is, either Heed, Ryan, or Djoos if Caps lose should get invited.
Forwards I can see them waiting on Sörensen until the second round is finished, because you'd want Forsberg & Arvidsson, and if Caps lose; Bäckström, and if Pens lose; Hörnqvist. Both Bäckström & Hörnqvist are playing with injuries though and will more than likely decline should they get knocked out. This might be one of Hörnqvist's last chances when it comes to a worlds appearance, though.
Burra injuredhagelin would be a nice piece for this team. elite speed. burakovsky?
Joakim ryan?
Ryan has already chosen to represent Sweden in U17-U20, so he should be.He's not eligible for Sweden, I think?
Invite Marcus Scorensen

Had to look it up and turns out he did play 22 months for Redhawks, just 2 months shy, that has to suck. Heed/Djoos it is then.Ryan is not eligible to suit up for Sweden at IIHF events. He has not spent 24 months playing hockey in Sweden, was stopped from participating at the 2012 WJC for that reason.
stop with this söderberg thing, they dont want him.
Janmark looked absolutely lost today. Maybe the line needs a switchup move Kempe there to give them an extra physical edge?We are in pretty good shape with those top two defensive pairs on the ice. The tempo of the game decreases pretty significantly with Wikstrand and Gustafsson on the ice, defensively they have been decent though.
Top line looked very nonchalant at times against France, their shifts were way too long and they tried to be super cute all the time. Last year we had a Lindholm-Rask line that dominated the start of the tournament but faded as the tournament progressed, hopefully that doesn't happen with the Rakell line this year. Having seen all three games I feel we absolutely need Forsberg and Arvidsson to defend the title though.
You cant compare Rask and Lindholm with Zib, Jannark and Rakell, its a huge difference in skills and scoring ability. We are in pretty good shape with those top two defensive pairs on the ice. They lost 2 home games this series alreadyWell they’re probably not loosing a game seven om home ice. Oh well..
