I doubt Nylander plays with his bad series + contract upcoming
Yes we know you've said that many times before, I don't think the bad series should matter, really it should make him wanna end the season on a positive note. Now the contract situation obviously makes it complicated. I'm hoping against better knowing that he will participate. Having him play with Pettersson would be immensely filthy.

John Norman is far and away the worst player on Team Sweden.

Janmark must be such a nightmare to play against.

He is fast as hell and very solid defensively. His shot isnt the best but managing 19 goals with it shows how smart he plays. Also this is all after not playing for a year thanks to his knee. He is a very solid middle 6 winger

Amazingly his skating doesn't look all that affected by the knee injury.

Dusan Umicevic is so tall he sticks out like a boner in sweatpants. Seriously I can't write another word for erection? Anyways he was significantly taller than a 6'6 Anders Nilsson who had skates on.

Only NHLer that didn't really stand out on me was J. Larsson. I thought Pääjärvi, kinda like expected, looked very comfortable on the big ice and made good use of his skating. Not a scorer anymore, but will make a good 3rd liner here.

I think this was the least prioritized game. The way I see it it was a try-out among the try-outs before the weekend games. Nilsson got the chance to play with Backlund(clearly a throw together line) and on the PP and did very well, better than Klingberg, so it wouldn't surprise me if he gets at least one more game with decent TOI. And on the back end Brännström made a similar case for himself to get one more look. Other than that no one vying for the last spots stood out.

Did OEL and Klingberg both play in first PP unit? And do you think they will play together or maybe Hampus with Klingberg?

Yeah I was super worried about him after the injury but he straight up looked like it never happened. There was talk about him never playing again and now it seems like an after thought
