I did a cursory search for this thread and found nothing on this subject.

I love watching the behind the scenes stuff that some of the teams produce. Some of it is incredible, The Leaf: Blueprint, Pens: In The Room, some are a little sparse and not as well produced. All are cool to watch.

I am going to list the ones I have found, all available on either NHL.tv or YouTube, (although season 3 of the Leafs one is only available here: The Leaf: Blueprint | Leafs Nation).

If people wouldn't mind adding any I have missed I would really appreciate it.
If it is in a non-YT or NHL.tv place could you provide a link to at least one episode. Thanks.

The Leaf: Blueprint - 3 seasons
Pens: In The Room - 7 seasons
Blue Jackets: Behind the Battle - 6 seasons
Home Team: The Vegas Golden Knights - 1 season
Nashville: Beneath the Ice - 3 seasons
Wild: Becoming Wild - 3 seasons
Bruins - Behind the B - 5 seasons
Sharks - The Deep - Not broken up by seasons but 27 episodes from Oct 2015 to May 2018
Kings - Black and White - 3 seasons, short episodes
Oilers - Oil Change - 3 seasons
Panthers - Home Team - 4 episodes
Devils - Behind the Glass - 4 episodes
Blackhawks - On The Clock - 3 episodes
Sabres: Beyond the Blue and Gold - 5 seasons, short episodes

If people don't want to search YT I have all the links but didn't want to waste the space here. Hope you enjoy, the summer is long and boring sometimes and this has definitely helped.

If anyone loves all levels of hockey State of Hockey has produced two seasons of a really decent show about the Minnesota High School hockey tournament and teams trying to get there called "Dream. State.". Casey Middlestadt on one of the featured teams in season one.

Thanks for posting, as I was specifically searching for this type of info. I watch these in the gym in the morning when I’m biking and elliptical’ing to nowhere. :-)

This is good stuff. I caught the Devils one on NHL Network, really well produced. Also a good glimpse into why Hines is a very good coach.

Blackhawks have two seasons of their draft process called “On The Clock” season one covers the 2017 draft season 2 covers the 2018 draft. They also have mini documentaries on Dylan Sikura in the NCAA and Jokiharju called “Signing Sikura” and the “28th pick” respectively.

I wish NHL Network would show more of these and less of their endless "top 50 stupid things nobody cares about" countdowns. :help:

Thanks, I found it on YouTube and added it to the OP.

In the summer they do. They ran all 5 seasons of Behind the B one day, this was what prompted me to look up other teams.

Sabres have been doing "beyond blue and gold" since 2012 I believe. It's a pretty good look in to things with a lot of episodes, you should give it a look.

Also, not exactly current, but the documentary "Defector" about the Sabres sneaking Mogilny into the states is an amazing watch if you've not already seen it.

Thank you, added. I will definitely watch this one.

I forget the name of it, but the Blues had some episodes doing their prep before/during the 2006 and 2007 drafts. That was probably one of the first behind the curtain type things I remember seeing. It was eye opening to see how a GM can be a passenger in the process of putting together a draft list. And it was interesting to see two of their scouts have a relatively heated discussion about David Perron.

In the 2006 video, the interesting chunk for me was them trying to trade back up for Patrik Berglund who they had in their top 10. In the 2007 video, they were trying hard to trade up for Jakub Voracek; I think they offered #9 and #24 to Edmonton for #6 to no avail.

I thought the Capitals had one on our local channel, but I haven’t watched live tv in years, I don’t remember what it’s called unfortunately

Dont remind us of Oil Change

Good god, that's just a bad name. How 'bout "Striking Oil?" Idk, first thought, I'm sure there are other options, but "Oil Change" makes it sound like the Oilers do or should change all their players- which, y'know, might not be the best message.

Anyways, thanks for the thread OP, off to watch the Sabres one now.

Well, that kind of was the premise of the show. The team had hit rock bottom (or at least, that's what they thought at the time ) and ownership and management had come around to the idea of a rebuild. As I recall, the discussion around the Hall / Sequin draft featured heavily in the first season.

Oil Boom. Boom, nailed it. Can I be GM now?
