So...Heiskanen is in,
Räsänen&Nyman, really good possibility
= 5+2 d men = 7

No room for Vaakanainen&Jokiharju.
Rest of the NA help, not coming.

---

Something like:

1. Nyman-Ikonen-Vesalainen
2. Kotkaniemi-Koskenkorva-Ylönen
3. Talvitie-Virtanen-Maansaari
4. Aalto-Kupari-Engberg

1.Heiskanen-Räsänen
2.Teräväinen-Latvala
3.Anttalainen-Isiguzo?

1.Ukko-Pekka
2.????

Who's said and where Heiskanen has joined Finland's U18 WJC team?

So U18 WJC's starts today and Finland faces Slovakia in their 1st game.
Finland's U18 WJC camp ended yesterday and tournament starts today but still Finland hasn't announced their U18 WJC team yet.

How difficult is to publish one freaking U18 WJC team.
Great job jääkiekkoliitto ****ing amateurs.

With Vaakanainen,Räsänen,Nyman and Heiskanen additions
our top 6 forwards and top 6 d,wood look pretty good.

Now if you compare to what we had last year....
but we gotta go what we have,so...yeah,
still doesn't look that bad.

Well, not official yet,but isn't it kinda already of a sure thing, right?

HIFK out and only 1 bronze game left,it would be silly not to select him and kinda not cool from AT not to let him go before that bronze
game,we having weak defense and all at the moment,he (AT)
should do team Finland a solid on this one.

Even if he plays the bronze game, then he be there for sure.

Liiga's bronze game is next Friday ( 21 April).

If Heiskanen joins in the Finland's team after liiga's bronze game he'll play in semifnal or medal game ( Bronze game or gold medal game) if / when Finland goes that far.
It's very big risk to play with 5 defenceman's ( Anttalainen,Isiguzo,Latvala,Teräväinen and Utunen) before Räsänen and Heiskanen related to Finland's U18 WJC team.

And also Finland's management hasn't plenty of time to wait Heiskanen.
All roster in U18 WJC's should finalized before U18 WJC's quarterfinals ( if i'm not mistaken)

If Tolvanen was out of the playoffs and would join this team it would change the excitement level and expectations about this team by so much...

Are the rules still the same that one player can join at any point of the tournament. I believe Aho did that 2 years ago when he only played 1 game which was the final. Maybe we can get Tolvanen later like that if Finland still remains in the tournament.

Finland won't get Tolvanen at all.
Clark Cup semifinals ( USHL playoffs) starts tomorrow ( Friday April 14).

Sioux-City faces Des-Moines Buccaneers.
And it's hard to believe Sioux City losing three straight games for a team who ended 4th place in USHL western conference ( Sioux City was 1st).

If games 4 and 5 are needed those games are played next Saturday ( April 22) and Tuesday April 25.
Only forward that Finland can get is Linus Nyman.

Portland is on the ropes right now down 3-1 to Kelowna in their series. Could potentially be knocked out Friday, which would make Jokiharju available. Would they take him over Rasanen considering Jokiharju has experience at this level already?

Yes. Not even close.

How you see Aleksi Heponiemi's chances to come U18 WJC's?
I know Swift-Current leads their series versus Regina Pats 3-1 but is there still chance Regina can eliminate Swift-Current and when possibly game 7 will be played.

PS How's possible Regina has on the ropes versus Swift-Current?.
They at least had to have memorial Cup favorite in WHL.

I'm shocked that SC is up 3-1 right now. I've watched one game in that series and to me it is clear that Regina is the better team, but SC has one major advantage with Jordan Papirny in net. He went to the Mem Cup with Brandon last year and seems to be stealing the series for SC right now. It's entirely possible that Regina could turn the tables and win that series, they're the #1 team in the CHL for a reason, but even if they were to do that Heponiemi likely wouldn't be able to make it to Slovakia until the playoff round.

What a thriller.
But 4-5 final score is 4-5 final score and win is a win.

It's always good to win first game in the tournament.
But that defence needs to improve and a lot we don't have afford to allow four goals per game.

Utunen is nowhere near good enough for this level yet. Getting a legit partner like Jokiharju or Vaakanainen for Heiskanen would be huge.

They also need to add Seppälä or Tammela to the roster, Koskenkorva and Kotkaniemi were wasted playing limited minutes.

I think Finland waits Linus Nyman.
That's why we don't have yet full lines and Koskenkorva and Kotkaniemi are forced to play limited minutes.
