Does anyone look at those boring, uninspired, one arm banded let downs in a different and now positive light since they are now associated with such a big win and feel good memories in Sochi? Is it possible there is now a revision on how we see them?

Or are they still and will always be putrid eyesores with no redeeming qualities other then they happened to be the uniforms they wore when Canada won Gold over there?.

I proudly own a vintage Vancouver 2010 sweater...those are classic and should be worn for every international tournament replacing the Hockey Canada Corporate logo. I also love the 2006 2007 era World Junior sweaters even though it has the Hockey Canada logo. No plans on purchasing the Sochi sweater in the near future.

As I said before the tournament, they look better with gold in front of them. Anyway, my opinion of the jerseys has not changed. Still ugly. I do think that they make nice shirts though, and I liked the other team Canada gear that was produced. I also have a soft spot for the black alternate 2014 jersey, for reasons that I cannot explain.

IMO, it's not the jerseys that were the problem but more so the pants and helmet. Both the 2010 and 2014 Olympics jerseys looked poorly with black pants and helmets.

Carolina's uni's are similar to Canada's from 2010 and look how much nicer they are with red pants and helmets.

Have always hated that logo, childish and looks like something off the old table top Hockey games.

While I don't mind the black pants I would prefer red but I would prefer and have always wanted a uniform in the detroit style with red pants not the carolina model.

It's still an olympic jersey in which Team Canada won gold. But I think there are better jerseys to choose from.

The 2010 olympic jersey was pretty good.

Then I like these two the most:

No, they're still ugly.

Give me any maple leaf, just not the Hockey Canada logo. No federation logo should ever be on a national jersey.

I get if you just don't want the logo because of that. But otherwise, the logo looks cool on the jersey.

Yes, Canada Cup jersey were and have been the best , no doubt. Red and white ones are perfect both .

To be honest, I didn't like the Olympic Vancouver and Sochi versions both, only Torino' one was acceptaple. Irony, Canada won the tournaments wearing not-nice (at least) jerseys, and had a fail wearing stylish ones :)

By the way, if someone doesn't know, there were quite interesting jerseys in the World Juniors 1978, when Gretzky, Gartner and Vaive played for Canada. They looked like Canada Cup jersey-style, but there was blue/white colours instead of red/white :

You can have a look at both "home" and "visitor" versions here:

Not bad, right?

As for the recent tournaments, I liked third jerseys of the World Juiniors 2009 :

IMO, this version would have a good white jersey...

Nah, I don't even like the logo that much. Ok for a federation logo, but ugly on a jersey.

I like Canada's Vancouver jersey very much, my favourite Canada jersey in fact and I know quite a few Canadians like it also. The Torino jersey with the Hockey Canada is a fail IMO.
