If your avatar is Gary Frank I love that guy's art.

I honestly think they should draft the highest skilled RHD available to them for the first two rounds. A goalie in the three middle rounds. Then the biggest RHD they can find in the final two rounds.

Keep doing that every year and they'll eventually hit on their 1RHD and bonafide starting goaltender.

What I expect they will do is much different. The Leafs will continue to draft a skilled forward with the first pick available to them. Because forwards are easier to develop and trade they hope to hit on a star player before the Matthews contract ends so they can eventually trade one of the overpriced stars they have already for a defenseman they really need.

In the meantime they keep filling the backend with useless turds like Edmundson.

[MOD] Along with goaltenders like Samsonov amd Campbell. They aren't gonna win a cup with guys like that. And if they aren't gonna trade for the players they need they better start drafting heavily for those positions.

Or they will never be bigger superheroes to my kids than Batman.
