Based on how the Canes draft, they would be hard pressed to pass on Heidt but there is likely 5 names on this list they will really like and trade down.

I think they would have serious interest in Brindley, Nadeau, and Perron. If they trade down and get an earlier 2nd, Strbak, Stramel, and more likely Halttunen will get serious consideration.

The G pipeline is pretty weak.

exactly why they will hold that pick for auction, trying to get some good 2nd rounders. Halttunen is likely a 20s pick type talent but tried to play with men as a 17 year old to really boost his draft status and it burned him. We can trade down and get some guys who they like, Detroit has some good picks in the range.
