The more info I get on Wood, the better he sounds as he was a C before NCAA who possesses great hockey IQ and should be an impact player if he can improve his skating. However, most scouts project him more of a goal scorer at higher levels and his two way play needs work so he may or may not be a C in the NHL level. Since we already have McDonough and Klimovich who are similar type players and RHD is such a premium position that we badly need to address, I’m going to stick with Willander here.
