The ideal outcome is Luchanko being available but looking like a long shot

I wouldn't expect either Luchanko or Hage to be available.

This is still a nice way for the board to fall at 26, you'd think the Habs would be ecstatic to be able to choose between two competitive centers in Surin and Boisvert. Basu also mentioned they seem particularly high on Basha, as well.

I'm going Basha because he'll look great beside his buddy Lindstrom after we get him at #5. :)

I like a lot of names at 26, if we're drafting we'll get a better prospect than Mesar/Beck almost guaranteed. Went Basha, but I like Mietinen and Boisvert too.

Easy pick here for me: Sacha Boisvert

You need that type of player to win, I see him becoming a really #2-3 center and it’s harder to find that than a 2nd line winger on the market. Plus we don’t have a lot of center in our prospect pool.

I think Boisvert has the personality to succeed in this market and will be fan favourite

I'm going Surin here.. though Boisvert, Basha and Letourneau are particularly tempting.
Great thread. In this case, I hope that HuGo resist the temptation to trade that pick, unless they have something brewing that is just outrageous. I voted Letourneau, based on the optimistic scenario that he morphs into Tage Thompson, and not a repeat of the McCarron saga. However I like those very same players that you mentioned.
