Pfff... Honzek would be perfect if Nashville didn't pick him.

BPA might be Stenberg at this point? So I guess I'll go with him.

Went Bonk. Not sure if he's the bpa there, could very easily be Stenberg or Edstrom. But we do need some defensive prospects in our pool and I think Bonk looks to be a pretty good one

Daniil But. Yeah, I know. Russian factor. I have to give a shout-out to HF membership. I think this mock, put together by team board voting, is a lot better than many of the ones made by the hockey pundits. (Who actually get paid to make them!)

I think Stenberg and Edstrom are the closest to NHL ready out of the remaining forwards. Just my opinion of course. Not as rawily talented as some others left on the board but I think they’d make the team sooner. I went with Stenberg cuz Otto. I’m also hoping Strbak and/or Lindstein is available at #29.

And yeah, I said rawily. So what??

It’s between Stenberg and Musty for me. Stenberg gives me serious Steen vibes and think he can become a solid 2nd liner at his very top end. Musty is all boom or bust. I see so many things I like with the things I don’t being areas that should be improved upon with time. I don’t see much from Musty that would make me stay away this far into the first round.

Went with Musty with the hope of Stenberg later.

Really like Stenberg.
Really like Heidt.

With us getting a C with our first pick, I'll take the winger in Stenberg.

Hopefully Heidt is still there at 29 for us.

Honestly, I'm very high on Oskar Fisker Molgaard (I can't do his name correctly on my new computer, and I apologize to him; I would if I could.), and I think he could be a solid middle-six (potentially top-six) center. His skating, stickhandling, very high compete level, and his defensive prowess at such a young age honestly give me Robert Thomas vibes (also hear Marko Kasper comparisons because - like Kaspar - OFM jumped straight to the SHL in his draft year and became trusted by the coach). I know we already have Robert Thomas, but having a similar prospect in the pipeline isn't a bad thing in the slightest. He's solid around the boards, in front of the net, and despite his stature, he will not hesitate to go to the corners and grind there for the puck, which he'll come up with more often than not. I seriously love this kid's motor; when he gets bigger, look out.

Despite OFM's compete level, he seriously needs to bulk up; he's only 163 lbs. He also hasn't shown too much offensive prowess. He'll drive the play, has good passing ability, cause chaos around the net, but he plays a mostly safe game. His shot is pretty much a muffin, although if he bulks up his lower body, he can boost his skating and shot to greater heights. Honestly, I think he has more in the tank offensively since he's admitted that he's played safe as a younger player to get more playing time. I could see him taking more risks, more chances to drive the play.

OFM could possibly there at #29, but I don't consider it a definite probability; I could see a team taking a chance on him early. I just hope it's us.

For the record, I considered Oliver Bonk (who will be my main choice at #29 if he's there) and Stenberg. I just decided to go with a center prospect who's very underrated.

I only watched Stenberg in U18's, not his club. Could've sworn he was a center. He play wing on his club team?
