Rumor: TDL "almost" trades

The thing I love most about TDL are the rumors/stories about trades that were almost made but for whatever reason did not fully materialize. There's the well known Markstrom/NJ trade and already a thread on the Ullmark/LA Kings trade. Are there any others that have been reported or speculated in the media?

I agree with @xjoeyc23x. Ottawa by process of elimination. Needs a goalie and has a defenseman worth trading Ullmark for (Chychrun).
