Really really good. We expect Nylander Marner and Matthews to take up about 25m. We have Kadri and Rielly locked in for 9.5 for the next 4 seasons, a capable top 10 goalie in Andersen for 5m and some decent depth in Zaitsev brown and hyman making 9m combined. That’s about 60m in the meat and potatoes of the lineup.
Lots of young wingers (Johnsson, grundstrom, korshkov bracco) and D-Men(Liljegren sandin on elcs to come up over the next few years as well.
If they play their cards right they can add one more mid level contract without sacrificing any core players (big 3, jt, Rielly, Kadri)

I can only imagine. I went to visit their board the other night (dumb I know). I wasn't planning on saying anything but I was so surprised to read a female poster say that it should be her job so support her man no matter what he decided to do and she should have no input on the decision that I said something, needless to say it didn't go over well.

Maybe I should have asked her if she'd ever been in a relationship. Sure honey, you decide where and in which country you'll mostly be for the next 7 years, what I think isn't relevant here. Um yeah right, sure thing.

what a great canada day and possible one of the best weekends that i've had in a long time. so excited for october.

and one of the best parts of today? reading all the reactions on the other teams boards. the salt is enough to last many winters in toronto.

It was pretty bad.

It all started when Montreal booed the American national anthem as a way to voice their displeasure to GWB and his decision to send troops to Iraq. But when the Leafs/Isles series started, their fans booed the everliving shit out of our anthem as a way to get "back at us"...even though Toronto had nothing to do with this. Even poor Jamie Lynn Siglar (Meadow Soprano) sang both anthems looked extremely uncomfortable while performing.

Circle back to Gm 3 in Toronto, and everyone at the ACC cheered the US anthem as a sign of respect and to show no hard feelings. But with that, coupled with the extreme amount of physicality and violence in this series, Isles fans couldn't let things go; they ended up burning not only Leaf jerseys, but also the Canadian flag in the Nassau Coliseum parking lot.

I remember the pictures in the Toronto Star vividly. Really took me awhile to forgive that fanbase...and this is why when Isles fan get on their soapbox to complain about us Leaf fans, that they really need to shut their f***ing mouths as they have nothing on us compared to what they've done!
