He's also reportedly selling his tiny share of the Nets so he can focus on being a player agent or something along those lines.

could not agree more. the old barn rocks and it will never be the same. catch as many games here as you can because these are the good old days.

were getting a newer building but we're losing the best sight lines in the league and a more subdued atmosphere. great.

The move to Brooklyn makes sense for this team, and I know Im in the minority, but I would rather player in that Nassau Coliseum forever than move anywhere. Its home

This Brooklyn move is ONLY a good thing because the Islanders will be staying local. It is a horrible move for this franchise. The arena will barely hold 15,000 people, many of the seats will be bad for hockey. The sight lines will not be nearly as good. The place will not be half as loud. The scoreboard will not even be close to center ice. And the travel time for most of us will be increased by 90 minutes every game. I hate everything about this move with the exception of the fact that the team isn't moving out of NY

Exactly. And I hate it. The new prudential center is "beautiful," but its an absolutely terrible place to watch a game imo. The Barlcays C is not built for hockey and wont be adjusted to suit hockey. It will be the smallest arena in the league I believe right there with winnipeg, the sight lines will suck, the volume willbe nothign compared to the barn. It sucks. It doesnt suck because i can still go to games even though itll take twice as long to get there, but it sucks. I agree 100%
