We can get Tarasenko some PP goals but just remember that this is a national telecast and despite them not telling you this, it's not the Gateway Honda Dealers donating $500 dollars to Make a Wish for every PP goal, it's every PP goal in a game where the announcers are saying how generous the Gateway Honda Dealers are. National broadcasts that doesn't happen. Kids got a giant Michael Scott $28,000 check last year for the 65 power play goals. The kids lost out on $4500 last year for the 9 goals that didn't count because nobody was praising these people.

I tried the lottery simulator a few times. Chicago kept winning out of proportion to their chances. And even thought (at the time) the Blues had 3.5% chance I had to hit it more than 100 times before we got Bedard. If it can't be the Blues, I hope its Columbus or maybe Arizona just for the insanity.

Not going to be seeing this one because The Long Goodbye (1973) is having a 50th anniversary showing in San Francisco later on with Elliott Gould there to discuss, and I'm a couple hours north of the city up in the redwoods. This is the single most truthful Marlowe IMO, a farce of a character except for one thing that is real as a razor: loyalty, to cat and best friend alike. Jeff Bridges as The Dude is the other authentic Marlowe. 1973 was the year of Dark Side of the Moon, Secretariat and The Long Goodbye. Pretty, pretty, pretty good, 1973.
