We have lost another series regular over the past few days as Barbashev has written off and a new supporting character in Kapanen has joined. He will be acting along side main characters Buchnevich and Thomas.

To be honest, If Tucker is higher in the peckinorder than Bortuzzo, even if Tucker is a lefty, that means IMO there isn't a reason to keep Bortz and if we can trade him we should.

Yeah, I'd expect Rosen and/or Bortozzo to be moved on deadline day.

I'm not sold on that. He has been bad, but we also shifted to a style that works for him less than anyone (and doesn't work for anyone). If we get a competent defensive coach with a good scheme, he might still be a decent 6/7 D. Or age might have caught up to him. Its just hard to tell with our scheme and team D being such a wreck.

Giving Kapanen a prime opportunity in his first game with our two best players. Hopefully he can take advantage. I would prefer if Alexandrov was centering the 3rd line instead of Brown.

Kinda glad Alexandrov will not continue to experience our lousy team. He is fine where he is, imo, and needs to work on his overall game in a positive environment with an emphasis on faceoffs.

He's not in the AHL he's on the 4th line.
