Poor Donato can’t even get on PP2 despite leading the team in goals.

NHL app says soderblom is starting. Is that usually accurate or confirmed otherwise?

It would probably be the best to give him this game and let Mrazek get some extra rest to start versus the Ducks the next day.
 
Can’t believe much of what you read I guess. I was wrong to assume the op was correct on Donato and wrong to assume that what I read on nhl.col was right about soderblom.

Comnor Bedard only 3 multi-point games in last 25 GP...only ONE 3 point game among those 3...
Connor Bedard only 4 goals in lastc25 GP...4 for 75 shots on goal ..

The"GENERATIONAL" goal scorer in fizzle mode,not beating goalies..

Still a minus player (-3) in first 11 GP this season...but thatvis an improved pace from -44 for 23/24 season.

Of course he is GENERATIONALLY BAD at faceoffs.

Should he stay at 2C or be moved to wing?

Shoukd he be moved closer to the net on the PP1 =ie. bumper spit?

Why is he not creating any 2 on1 transitions?

Is he a FAIIL as a 1C?

Woukdxabmkve to wing give him more 2 on1s and generate more North South rush ippourtuties to eitger fire in netbor take more pucks to the net.

The way teams clog the middle agaibst him and he fails to get through the clip to firebox net you have got to consider sone drastic changes with him to get him back to better goalbscori g .

It’s why I’m so adamant he needs a legit top line guy to help him. It’s too easy for the defense to focus on him and shut him down and we don’t have any internal help coming anytime soon.

Or we can be in year 4 of Bedard saying the same shit.

And I’m not worried about his talent, he flashes it constantly… but it’s impossible for him to do anything when he’s smothered by two opposing players every shift and doesn’t have McDavid like skating to get away from them.
 
move Bedard to RW and slot him with Nazar when he's ready and Teuvo at LW, let him focus solely on maximizing his offensive production and give Nazar the two way responsibilities

100% with you, just don’t think Nazar is the answer for Bedard yet.

I could actually see Bertuzzi’s game meshing well with Nazar.
 
imagine the line...Rantanen-Nazar-Bedard...you add an elite 2C with a top 3 pick this upcoming draft, then you're talking about some real top 6 pieces to build around in addition to the defense group they've accumulated...if you really want to speed it up you sign Rantanen and Marner and put one with Bedard and the other with the second line, try to Campbell the Jones deal any way possible, then you're looking at maybe a playoff team if the defense pans out and they find a goalie
 
TT demoted to 3rd line...Donato promoted to Bedard line ...

Yeah, but in all due fairness not many if any has the skating speed or footwork of McDavid.

Of course not, which is why a supporting cast for Bedard is more important than McDavid given their respective skill sets.
 
wasn't Phillips just waived to start season? Tank commander if EDM and Korchinski are staying in RFD?
