Proposal: Tanev to Toronto/Buffalo/Colorado

Then leafs fans could think about it, but apparently most people aren't even happy with something like that. I've seen little of Tanev, and all I know personally is that him and Rielly did well together internationally. Personally hoping for lottery selection so we can choose high end RHD prospect.

leafs moving their 1st round pick is a non starter imo. that would be the complete opposite of the shanaplan.

Not that i think Vancouver will or should move Tanev but if he was going to Toronto they would need to pick from a list of items that dont include matthews, marner, nylander, and 1st round picks.

Not sure what vancouver needs are but maybe something around Kadri or JVR as the base of the deal?

Tanev isnt worth a potential top 5 pick, our best prospect not in the NHL, and then another 2nd thats probably early rd.

Why bother posting this? Tanev is worth more than this. There isn't a deal between TO/Van regarding Tanev, nothing we have available would entice Vancouver....and nothing they want would EVER be available.

These Tanev threads just need to stop, were not trading him and 75% of the hate in here is from fans who never watch him play. He is not worth as much as the OP thinks but at the same time some of these counter offers are just bad

Ya the Leafs probably do it depending on "the top prospect" basically anyone other than the big 3 + Kapanen. I'd deal Kap but not along with a 1st and 2nd.
The buffalo deal seems like fair value but with Risto as the undisputed RD on the first pairing not sure buffalo has a need great enough to give up Reinhart. And the Avs proposal is ridiculous. Add horvat and a first and you might get sakic thinking about it. MacKinnon still has the ability to be a top 10 forward in the league for a long time

TANEV IS A GREAT 1.5 to 2 tweener......not quite a #1 but plays with a number 1 and makes him better, he is elite in what he does.

As an Avs fan, I think more has to be going to Vancouver from Colorado. Tanev is really good, I doubt Mackinnon is enough.

I think you have it backwards. I really like Tanev, but he doesn't get you a MacKinnon. To put it sort of in perspective, would you move Mack FOR Barrie?
